SIMRAD xSonic SS60 20° Tilt Thru-Hull Dual Frequency Transducer

The xSonic SS60 is a stainless-steel, 20° tilt, thru-hull 50/200kHz Broadband transducer. Ideal for smaller sportfishing and commercial vessels up to 25′ in length, the SS60 is best suited for fishing in depths of less than 3000 ft. The 20° tilt is ideal for boats with a 20° to 24° hull deadrise.

The SS60 is the stainless steel version of Airmar’s popular B60 bronze tilted element transducer. SS60 provides a vertical beam without a fairing. Inside the housing, the ceramic element is tilted for built-in deadrise compensation. The resulting vertical beam returns crisp echoes for more-accurate depth readings.

The nearly-flush housing minimizes drag with only 5 mm (3/16″) extending outside of the hull. The SS60 is currently being used by the US Coast Guard.
